# Sigwei Terms of Service

By using Sigwei ("the Service"), you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

## 2. Service Description

Sigwei is an experimental Web3 platform that enables:
- Gasless USDC transfers on Base blockchain networks
- Creation of payment-protected links ("PayGates") for content and APIs

## 3. Experimental Nature and Disclaimers

**IMPORTANT:** Sigwei is experimental software provided as a hobby project with no commercial entity behind it.

### 3.1 No Warranties
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, including but not limited to:
- Continuous, uninterrupted, or timely access
- Compatibility with other systems or wallets
- Protection against unauthorized access or asset loss
- Accuracy of transaction information or pricing

### 3.2 Blockchain Risks
You acknowledge and assume all risks associated with blockchain technology, including:
- **Irreversible transactions** - All blockchain transactions are final
- **Network congestion or failures** that may delay or prevent transactions
- **Smart contract vulnerabilities** or bugs
- **Private key security** - Loss of private keys may result in permanent asset loss
- **Regulatory changes** affecting blockchain services

### 3.3 Third-Party Dependencies
Sigwei relies on third-party services including:
- Base blockchain network
- Coinbase x402 facilitator and Know Your Transaction (KYT) checks
- Various RPC providers for blockchain connectivity
- Smart contracts

We have no control over these third parties and accept no responsibility for their performance or availability.

## 4. User Responsibilities

By using Sigwei, you agree to:
- Be solely responsible for safeguarding your wallet and private keys
- Verify all transaction details before confirming payments
- Understand the experimental nature of the Service
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not use the Service for illegal activities

## 5. Limitation of Liability

**TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:**

- The Service operator assumes NO LIABILITY for any losses, damages, or costs arising from your use of Sigwei
- You assume FULL RESPONSIBILITY for all risks including complete loss of digital assets
- The Service operator is NOT RESPONSIBLE for:
  - Transaction failures or delays
  - Asset custody or security
  - Third-party service interruptions
  - Market volatility or asset devaluation
  - Unauthorized access to your accounts

## 6. Service Availability

- The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice
- Features may be added, changed, or removed as part of ongoing development
- No guarantee of service uptime or availability is provided

## 7. Privacy and Data

- Sigwei does not collect or store personal information beyond what's necessary for service operation
- Blockchain transactions are public by nature
- Sigwei does not endorse, or provide guarantee of service quality or legitimacy for premium PayGates

## 8. Intellectual Property

- The Sigwei source code and documentation are subject to their respective licenses
- You retain ownership of any content you create or upload through the Service

## 9. Termination

- You may stop using the Service at any time
- The Service operator may terminate or restrict access without notice
- These Terms survive termination

## 10. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
